Miley Cyrus Addresses Liam Hemsworth Split for the First Time in an Emotional Instagram
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth announced their split this weekend after marrying in December 2018.
Cyrus, who is currently on vacation with Brody Jenner's ex, Kaitlynn Carter, has broken her silence in an emotional Instagram post.
Seeming to address the split, Cyrus wrote, "Don't fight evolution, because you will never win."
Miley Cyrus's rep confirmed the star's breakup from her husband of seven months, Liam Hemsworth, in a statement to E! News this weekend, saying, "Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time."
Cyrus and Hemsworth dated on and off after they worked on the movie The Last Song together. They tied the knot in their home in Franklin, Tennessee, in December 2018. However, for now at least, Cyrus and Hemsworth have called it quits.
Seeming to address the split news in an Instagram post, Cyrus wrote, "Don't fight evolution, because you will never win. Like the mountain I am standing on top of, which was once under water, connected with Africa, change is inevitable. The Dolomites were not created over night, it was over millions of years that this magnificent beauty was formed."

The "Mother's Daughter" singer continued, "My dad always told me 'Nature never hurries but it is always on time' ... it fills my heart with peace and hope KNOWING that is true. I was taught to respect the planet and its process and I am committed to doing the same with my own ... ??."
It sounds as though Cyrus's life is in a state of flux, and she's embracing the changes as best she can.
