Miley Cyrus has proven time and time again that she can't be tamed.
The Disney Channel alum stepped up and stepped out at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, where she hit the red carpet in an outfit made entirely out of what looked like gold safety pins.
The artsy yet risqué garment showed off her toned figure and collection of tattoos, with rows of pins making up a mock collar, giving the illusion of a cold-shoulder style, and circling over her chest to give the appearance of a pair of breastplates for modesty. The pins were linked together to create an edgy, jagged hemline, and to keep her lower half covered, they formed into what looked like a looped belt.
She paired the bold look with yellow and gold stilettos and wore her hair in a voluminous feathered style, keeping her makeup neutral.
Cyrus garnered six nominations this year, up for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Flowers," Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for Endless Summer Vacation, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Thousand Miles" with Brandi Carlile.
Cyrus was quickly crowned the winner for Best Pop Solo Performance, and she even changed her outfit before going on stage to make her acceptance speech.
The "Used To Be Young" singer slipped into a glittering black jumpsuit to accept the award, which was presented to her by none other than Mariah Carey. Cyrus' second outfit featured a halter-style neckline with a plunging cutout, though she was still rocking the super teased hairstyle that she sported on the red carpet.
Cyrus' godmother, Dolly Parton, is nominated for Best Country Solo Performance for "The Last Thing on My Mind" this year, and fans are excited to see the two reunite for the occasion.
The "Jolene" songstress previously expressed her pride in the younger artist's nominations, hoping for her to "win as many as she can."
In fact, with how big "Flowers" was this year, Parton hopes to see her sweep her categories, though she'll "be happy for her with whatever she does win.”
In an interview with People, she fawned over the "Jaded" singer and her accomplishments, adding, “She's my little sweetheart. You know? My little goddaughter, so I feel very close to her.”
But, like all family, she's not afraid to take a little dig at her, either, once roasting her for her cooking abilities. "I doubt I’d eat much of anything that Miley cooks ‘cause it would have no taste," joked Parton. "Even if she cooked me something, I’m sure I’d have to doctor it up a little for myself. I would have to have some bacon grease."
