Miley Cyrus Sings in the Shower While Promoting Upcoming Single
The musician's new song is set to release later this week.
Miley Cyrus is ready to reveal a new side of herself with her upcoming music.
Ahead of the release of her new single, "Flowers," she showed off her vulnerability and stunning singing voice in a new video posted on Instagram.
The 30-year-old shared a clip of herself in a shower with only her back visible, singing the lyrics to "Flowers." With the sound of the water coming down, her voice echoes and has a bit of an eerie quality to it.
"Flowers" is scheduled to be released everywhere on Jan. 13, but Cyrus shared the specific times that it will come out in different time zones in the caption.
The new single will officially be available on Thursday, Jan. 12, at 7 p.m. EST, which is 4 p.m. on the West Coast, midnight in London on Friday, Jan. 13, and 11 a.m. in Sydney, Australia, on Jan. 13.
The iheartradio account commented on the Instagram post, writing, "this reel on loop til Thursday ???????."
Diplo commented a bunch of emojis, "??????????," while Paris Hilton left a heart eyes emoji on the post.
Fans are ecstatic at the news that new music is on its way, and many asked about a possible tour, with one commenting, "Drop the tour announcement ??."
A few days ago, Cyrus announced her eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation, would be released on March 10, almost three years since her last album, Plastic Hearts, was shared with the world.
A moody video introducing the album's concept and feel accompanied the announcement.
Luckily for fans of Cyrus who don't want to wait for March, she's releasing the single "Flowers" early.
The teasers for the song show Cyrus grooving to the lyrics, "I can love me better than you can," on a Los Angeles, California street and in a backyard, along with the newest teaser, which is the shower clip.
Fans will have to wait and see exactly what "New Year, New Miley" means, but based on the teasers, Cyrus' new single is one to look out for.
