Millie Bobby Brown Criticized by Intimacy Coordinator for 'Enola Holmes' Story

The actress kissed her 'Enola Holmes' costar, Louis Partridge, without consent.

The Enola Holmes actress, 18, described in a video posted to Netflix's TikTok page what it was like to rehearse the kiss that took place between her and her costar, Louis Partridge, in the second film of the Enola Holmes series.

In the video, Brown broke down exactly what happened while rehearsing for the scene that fans patiently awaited after the duo's romance was teased in the first film.

"Right on the rehearsal I grabbed his face and kissed him and he was like…" she said before mimicking her costar's surprised face. "It was so cute really seeing her [Enola] take the lead. And also seeing a girl just make the first move is just really exciting."

She continued the story, stating, "When we actually had our first kiss scene, within the scene I had to punch him, and because Louis is a good friend, I just kept punching him."

She continued, "I wasn't doing stunts, I really was hurting him. And by the end of it, he said, 'Millie can you please just fake punch me?' I was fully just getting him right in the stomach."

However, recently, Brown's story was picked up by intimacy coordinator Jessica Steinrock, who didn't seem to think the story was as cute as Brown played it out to be.

Steinrock took to her TikTok page to call out the actress, stating, "Ooh no, I love Millie Bobby Brown but this is not the cute story you think it is. I'm sure she and her scene partner have a lot of rapport built up and a great amount of trust, but we should never be surprising anyone during a fight or intimate scene, ever."

Steinrock continued: "At the end of the day, this basically means she didn't ask consent to kiss him. And when your scene partner reacts in surprise after you've kissed them that means the communication didn't happen the way it really needs to. Little things like this can escalate over time, and frankly she has more power in that situation than he does because she's a really well-known star. When we do spicy scenes we love keeping light, having fun, but consent is mandatory," she said.

Before ending the video, she added, "For the record, I loved Enola Holmes 2, but next time we have to ask consent."
