'A Million Little Things' Fans Should Brace Themselves for a Long Wait
A Million Little Things fans have a long wait ahead of them.
If it feels like season 3 of the family drama has just begun, well, that's because it has. After premiering in November and only four episodes in, A Million Little Things went on its usual winter hiatus in mid-December. Before going off air, the latest episode of the ABC show, entitled “The Talk,” showed the tight-knit group of friends having important conversations. While some provided clarity and solace, others brought up even more questions. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait a bit for answers because there will not be new episodes of A Million Little Things airing in the next few weeks.
So when will A Million Little Things return in 2021?
A Million Little Things will come back to ABC on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 10 p.m. ET. Previously, the show was set to return on March 4, but Deadline reports that due to “unpredictable production interruptions and delays” during the coronavirus pandemic, ABC gave the show an additional week to use as “extra cushion.”
But that’s not all — after A Million Little Things comes back, it will start airing on a different night the following month. Starting April 7, A Million Little Things will air on Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
Schedule changes aside, a lot will happen in the episodes to come. According to what series creator and showrunner DJ Nash told TV Guide, the final episodes of season 3 will focus on a particular storyline that hasn’t yet been revealed. What we do know is that it’ll be “an incredibly emotional event” that will test the friend group once again. What's more, in an interview with Deadline, DJ shared that the COVID-19 pandemic will hit Boston and “turn everything upside down."
Overall, fans can expect A Million Little Things to have 14 more episodes — a total of 18 episodes for its third season.
