Mindy Kaling is Holiday Ready in Body-Hugging Red Leather Dress

Nothing says it's the holidays quite like a little red dress.

Mindy Kaling just served up holiday party style inspiration at its best. 

The 43-year-old actress shared two stunning photos of herself with fans on Instagram, and she's clearly all wrapped up in the spirit of the season! 

In the new images, The Mindy Project star and creator flaunted a festive asymmetrical off-the-shoulder red leather dress with pleats that wrapped around her waist, almost reminiscent of a perfectly-wrapped present. She tagged LaQuan Smith as the designer of the little red dress and completed the sophisticated look with sheer black tights, black patent leather Louboutin peep-toe pumps, a black leather clutch from Fendi, gold earrings, and a mauve lip. 

The actress knows that sometimes there's a price to pay for looking this good, and made a note of it in the post's caption, "More of a standing only [sic] kinda dress," she joked.

The designer responsible for the red-hot look, Smith, wrote back to the star in the comments, exclaiming, "Yes Mindy!! My girl is Holiday ready ❤️❤️❤️🥂." 

"Sitting is overrated. 🔥🔥🔥," Never Have I Ever actress Sarayu Blue lovingly asserted.

Kaling's fans were also quick to shower her with compliments.

"Definitely worth not sitting down lol," one joked in response to the photo's caption.
