The worst part about beer pong is the mess - cups inevitably fall over, someone has to run to chase the ball, and by the end of the night the cups are definitely a health hazard. After years of experience, and a night spent studying at a bar, a few fraternity brothers came up with a solution.

Mini Beer Pong has turned the ultimate party game into something that can be played anywhere - on the beach, at a bar, on a train - without causing a mess or needing six feet of space to set up. Created by a group of friends from Minneapolis in late 2013, Mini Beer Pong can now be purchased on their company website, Scienz, or on .

The game works mostly like actual pong: the set comes with mini cups to fill with beer (or whatever beverage you prefer), and a configuration that allows for unlimited re-racks and keeps the cups from tipping over. These guys really thought of everything.

Instead of throwing a ball, you press down on a small trigger to catapult a ball into the air, and hopefully into a cup. The ball is attached to the launcher, so it won't go farther than the board.

Scienz sells plastic Mini Pong Travel Sets, which fold up, for $35, and the original wooden Mini Pong Deluxe Set for $75. If you're really dedicated to pong, or just want to customize a gift for someone, you can engrave the middle of the board with any logo, design, image, or text you want. We're guessing many a crest will be found on these soon.

Scienz also sells Mini Flip Cup sets, available online for $50.
