This mini Lord of the Rings reunion is downright precious
Legolas, Gandalf, and Ori reunited in a bar this week, and it’s fulfilling all of our fandom dreams. Orlando Bloom took to Instagram on Monday, August 13th to share proof of the epic reunion. In the pic, he’s posing with his former Lord of the Rings co-stars Sir Ian McKellan and Adam Brown (Gandalf the Grey and Ori, respectively), and it’s more precious than any ring.
“A dwarf, a wizard and an elf walk into a bar…” the actor captioned the snapshot, complete with perfect emojis. All three actors are positively beaming in the photo, which we will probably be printing out and taping on our apartment walls. (What? We need something to replace those old Legolas posters from when we were 12.)
Bloom and McKellan acted together in all three Lord of the Rings installments. And they worked with Brown in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. We love knowing that they’re all still friends.

Bloom must be feeling nostalgic for his wig-donning, arrow-shooting days, because he reunited with Arwen herself (Liv Tyler) earlier this month.

Which Lord of the Rings actor will be next in the Orlando Bloom LOTR reunion tour? We hope it’s Gollum. That would be so precious.
