  • Miranda Lambert got a new tattoo of the Queen of Hearts last October.

  • This is Miranda's seventh tattoo.

Miranda Lambert has changed a lot in the past year. For one, she married now husband Brendan McLoughlin in a surprise ceremony. She’s also released a new album, taken some much-deserved vacations, and started settling into life as a part-time New Yorker.

But besides practically glowing in every photo, Miranda’s appearance has relatively remained the same—except in one noticeable way. Can you spot it? (No, we’re not talking about that unbelievable ring.)

If you guessed a brand-new tattoo, you’d be right. She commissioned the colorful ink for her right arm last October. It’s a playing card, the Queen of Hearts, to be exact, and it’s got a pretty special meaning.

“It represents a lot of things in my life,” she told People. “I was going from one phase of life to a new one and starting to take care of me and not worry about what was around me.”

Wait, it gets better. “It’s about making sure I know that I’m the queen of my own heart,” she said. “I love it.”

So do we! We also like the tie-in it has with her latest record, Wildcard, which has a ton of new hits on it such as “It All Comes Out in the Wash” and “Tequila Does.”

This brings Miranda’s tattoo count to a reported seven total, though this appears to be the largest. She has three more small tattoos on the same arm as her latest, one on her left forearm, and two on her feet.
