Miranda Lambert Makes Grand Gender Reveal During Show in Las Vegas

Miranda Lambert is apparently looking to shed the title of "Grinch of country music" with her latest viral moment.

The "Mama's Broken Heart" songstress donated a few moments of her time during her Friday, March 22 timeslot of her Vegas residency, Velvet Rodeo, to reveal the gender of her "bestie slash personal assistant of almost a decade" Cameron Mitchell and her husband, Lambert's keyboardist, bandleader, and background vocalist Danny Mitchell's "Tour Baby."

As the band geared up to play "Drunk (And I Don't Wanna Go Home)," Lambert pointed out Cameron in the audience before linking her to her "baby daddy," who was "right here" on stage.

"We've been waiting for a long time to reveal the gender at this show, to a song called 'Drunk' because that's on brand for our white trash a--es," she told the audience. The clip then cut to the final chorus of the song, where confetti cannons blasted pink confetti into the air as the stage's background shifted to match.

"We had a Velvet Rodeo first last night y’all!!!" she exclaimed as she uploaded a video of the moment to Instagram on March 23.

Lambert has had some tough press throughout the duration of the residency, with mixed reactions coming in after she stopped the show altogether to call out a group of fans taking selfies during the song "Tin Man."

As a result, the internet began digging up other clips of the country crooner, including one where she popped a beach ball that had made its way up to the stage, which resulted in her being dubbed the "Grinch of country music."
