We All Missed Meghan Embracing an Old Instagram Friend on Christmas Day

• Meeting with her fans outside of St. Mary Magdalene church in Sandringham on Christmas Day, Meghan Markle apparently spotted a familiar face in the crowd.

• A young fan named Jess held up a sign with her Instagram name on as the Duchess of Sussex took part in the royal family's Christmas Day walk. Meghan recognized the fan's Instagram handle and embraced her, according to People.

• Sharing photos from the special moment on Instagram, @jessxscarlett revealed that she'd previously connected with Meghan over "social issues + chatting to each other about your blog and your love for food."

Waiting patiently in the crowd outside of St. Mary Magalene church in Sandringham on Christmas Day, Instagram user @jessxscarlett held up a sign featuring her social media handle. Designed to catch the Duchess of Sussex's attention, the young fan attended the royal family tradition so as to reconnect with Meghan Markle, with whom she'd previously spoken over social media.

Writing about the incident on Instagram, @jessxscarlett explained, "I'm so glad I decided to watch Suits many years ago because it meant I discovered this kind-hearted, caring soul who I'd [come] to love so much. Thank you for everything in the past couple years - I'll never forget it - from the conversations about social issues + chatting to each other about your blog and your love for food. I love you always."

Speaking to fans in the crowd, Meghan also revealed that her due date is fast approaching, as she said, "We're nearly there," when asked for a pregnancy update.
