Missoni Men’s Fall 2021

Comfort has always been an integral part of Missoni’s heritage. So when she approached the fall season, creative director Angela Missoni wanted to stress that aspect in her men’s collection.

Temporarily banning suits from the lineup, the designer focused on casual pieces, spanning from beautiful jacquard sweaters to logo cotton fleece tracksuits and streamlined wool coats.

The best results came when Missoni fully expressed its knitwear expertise, as shown with hooded cardigans layered on padded nylon vests and limited-edition tactile shirt jackets worked in sophisticated color combinations.

Sartorial elegance was revamped through a young filter for deconstructed knitted blazers worn with hoodies, while the fashion house’s signature zigzag motif inspired the graphic quilting of bombers and blousons. Interpreting one of the seasons’ biggest trends so far, Missoni rendered its wool peacoat in a black and blue version of a zebra pattern.
