Model says Donald Trump Jr. sent her flirty messages: 'I'm not surprised Vanessa bailed'
Donald Jr. and Vanessa Trump’s divorce may seem sudden, but model Melissa Stetten isn’t surprised. The beauty is sharing flirtatious messages allegedly from the president’s son that were sent to her during his 12-year marriage.
On Thursday, Stetten, who is from Los Angeles, tweeted of Donald Jr., “Surprised his marriage didn’t work out since he was sending me DMs a month after his wife gave birth.” Stetten included what she says is a private direct message from the father of five in November 2011, one month after Vanessa, 40, gave birth to the couple’s third child.
Surprised his marriage didn’t work out since he was sending me DMs a month after his wife gave birth. (I tweeted a joke about pulling a muscle changing a tampon and he replied asking if I smelled bacon? Cool joke) pic.twitter.com/JbuwC1wghf

In a follow-up tweet, Stetten wrote, “I deleted my tweets a while ago in this exchange but just found this one” and shared another note from Donald Jr.

She also tweeted, “His dad is president why hasn’t he deleted these tweets?” and shared another tweet from Donald Jr., in which he mentioned the smell of “channel.” (Donald likely meant “Chanel.”).

“I have no idea what the bacon comment meant,” Stetten tells Yahoo Lifestyle. “I responded to a few of his tweets after he started following me in 2010, but only because I thought of the Trumps as idiots and his failed attempt at hitting on me was sad.”
She added that Donald Jr. recently unfollowed her, “probably from all my tweets calling his dad human garbage. … I’m not surprised Vanessa bailed.”
A representative for Donald Trump, Jr. has not returned Yahoo Lifestyle’s request for comment.
On Thursday, the New York Post reported that Vanessa had filed for divorce in Manhattan Supreme Court. She filed for an uncontested proceeding, meaning the couple will probably not fight over custody or assets.
Happy #internationalwomensday! Dyed my hair purple/pink and I'm wearing a shirt dress without a bra.

“After 12 years of marriage, we have decided to go our separate ways,” the couple said in a statement. “We will always have tremendous respect for each other and our families. We have five beautiful children together and they remain our top priority. We ask for your privacy during this time.”
On Friday, a source told Us Weekly that the couple hadn’t been happy in years. “His relationship with Vanessa started getting rocky two years ago, when his dad started to campaign,” the source told the publication. “Vanessa is very close to her family and very private and does not like all this attention on her family. They’ve been unhappy for a while.”
In February, the Daily Mail reported that the couple spent Valentine’s Day apart, taking their children on separate dinner outings.
Stetten says she has no personal knowledge of Donald Jr. contacting other women. Meanwhile, the humor site Someecards dug up a few of his old tweets.
