Find A Modern Mix of Neutral and Baby Bunny in This Sweet Nursery

Bringing together a space inspired by baby bunnies, designer Layne Kula will make you fall in love with all things neutral. It doesn't take color to craft a magical nursery after all. From plant-infused floating shelves to floral garland and the cutest wicker rocking horse, take a tour of this sweet spot captured by Chandler Kim.

When my clients Ariana and Michael received the news that they were going to be having a girl in the middle of designing their modern, Denver home, we knew that the nursery was no exception. When we chatted about their vision, they were specific in that they didn’t want anything overly feminine or too girly. They came to me to design a space that felt cozy, effortless, and neutral with floral accents and varying textural elements. They didn’t want it to feel too princess-y or too traditional. The result? We collaborated on a custom gallery wall that featured a silk floral installation + a dreamy array of carefully-curated wall hangings, star motifs, and art. In addition, we filled the space with a variety of woven accent pieces - like an incredible, vintage rattan rocking horse, a woven changing basket, and additional bins and ottomans that fit the bill and filled out the space. Passionate about their baby bunny, the couple wanted to incorporate different stories and collected objects for their newborn so they would have lots and lots of stories to tell about their newborn baby girl and all of her new adventures.
