WARNING: Spoilers ahead for the Schitt's Creek series finale.

Moira Rose has worn many a grand outfit and wig over the past six seasons of Schitt's Creek, but none can quite compare to the holy garb and headpiece she donned in last night's satisfying series finale.

For the wedding of her son, David Rose (Dan Levy), to Patrick Brewer (Noah Reid), Moira (Catherine O'Hara) dressed in her finest papal-inspired attire, opting for a bright white robe, gold chain belt, long pendant necklace, and gold metallic gloves.

Literally topping it all off was a glorious bedazzled mitre with a band made of blonde hair and sheets of perfect beachy waves falling out from under it, dangling past Moira's waist. With its over-the-top flair and religious references, the ensemble exuded pure "Rihanna at the 2018 Met Gala" energy, but with the campy twist the Rose matriarch does best.

"That was beyond. Wasn't it fun? And with blessings from the Vatican, it looked like," O'Hara told E! News of the ensemble, which included a white Alexander McQueen gown.

Apparently, she came up with the idea. "The minute Catherine found out that she was going to officiate, she came up with the idea of, 'What if we dressed her kind of like the pope?'" Levy told E! News. "And the minute we had that direction, everything really sort of fell into place. She had the idea for the headpiece, she wanted to have a little bit of her hair wrapped around the hat. And Ana Sorys, who did all of [Alexis] and Moira's hair on the show, just spent months trying to figure out how to make that hat with the hair on it. Finally, she did it."

Moira's elaborate style choice makes sense—kind of—considering she served as David and Patrick's wedding officiant. (If this means she has this whole getup readily lying around, ready to be worn on short notice, we salute.) The couple's original officiant, a haikuist named Fabian, canceled his appearance due to bad weather, leading this mother of the groom to substitute.

A final, heavenly serve, it did not go unnoticed by viewers. Fans poured out love and admiration for the outfit, and its wearer, of course, on Twitter after the final episode of Schitt's Creek aired.

Some might choose to remember Moira by this outfit, but her inimitable presence over the past six seasons has already solidified her as one of the most memorable characters in TV history. In Her name, amen.
