As a mother of five hungry kids, Stacie Lange is used to getting dinner on the table in a snap! That’s why we asked this Orlando mom and food blogger to test the newest must-have kitchen gadget, the Instant Pot.

With seven different functions including a rice cooker and a pressure cooker, it claims to cut cooking time up to 70 percent!

Stacie used the Instant Pot to make a family dinner of ribs and rice.

So, what did she think?

“I was skeptical at first—I already have a juicer, a rice cooker, a slow cooker,” Stacie says. “I have just about every gadget in the kitchen and I thought the last thing I need was another one.”

But in the end, she loved how quickly the Instant Pot got dinner on the table: the ribs cooked in just 35 minutes—whereas a normal braise would’ve taken hours—and the Instant Pot made for fluffy rice with no slaving away over a hot stove!
