Mom's 'best f*** up I have ever done' green screen mishap results in hilarious school pictures
Being a parent is no easy task. As a mama or papa bear, you have to explain complicated things to a sweet little lamb. Where do babies come from? How do you balance a checkbook? What should they wear on picture day?
One mother, Laura Pyle, realized it was time for her daughter, Addison, to pick her own school photo outfit. Addison’s favorite dress is green, with green sequins.
Unfortunately for Addison and her brother, most photographers use green screens for school photos now. Maybe not unfortunately, it provided some seriously hilarious photos.
Laura wrote on Love What Matters, “I woke her up a little earlier than usual that morning, so we could curl her hair.” She continued, “I didn’t give the color of her dress a second thought as I waved goodbye to my children. This is the part of the story where all I can do is claim mom brain/pregnancy brain/ lack of coffee. Had I been thinking about it, I should have realized what was about to happen.”
Just a few weeks later, she received her daughter’s proofs. Thankfully, she shared the screenshots of her green screen mishap with the internet so we could all share in with this laugh.
“Y’all. THIS IS THE BEST F*** UP I HAVE EVER DONE,” the mother wrote, very astutely. “THERE ARE 87 STYLES. I NEED THEM ALL.”
She ordered the purple background photos, in which her daughter’s dress matches the drapes, but she’s unable to order any more styles.
“They said the way production was set up, it only allowed for one background to be chosen,” her mother told PopSugar. At least we always have Facebook…
