Well, it sounds like this is the end of the road for the Roman family. After just 11 episodes, Fox has decided to cancel Monarch. Deadline first reported the news of the show's end.

The show was certainly primed for success. It had a star-studded cast, including Susan Sarandon, Trace Adkins, Anna Friel, Joshua Sasse, and Beth Ditto, with memorable musical performances every week and high-profile cameos by the likes of Shania Twain, Martina McBride, Tanya Tucker, and Little Big Town. But, after a highly rated premiere, it never took off in the ratings.

The Monarch Instagram page shared a clip from the finale, and fans hit the comments section to beg for a second season and demand answers to the many cliffhangers from the series finale.

  • "We need a season 2 after watching the finale!!!!"

  • "Love this show! So why did it get cancelled? I really want to see how it should end. What really happened to Trip, how did James and Albie's other daughter get together to plot what the Romans, and does Gigi stay married or do they get a divorce and does the baby make it... ?????????"

  • "So mad it is cancelled ! Why? great show !!!"

  • "Reconsider cancelling completely! Maybe Hulu will pick it up! It’s the country music 'Dallas'! Even better!"

If you want to relive all the moments from the show's first (and, by the sounds of it, only) season, all 11 episodes are available to stream on Hulu.
