If you've already binged season 2 of 13 Reasons Why, then you're dying to get some clarity about what you just witnessed. You may be wondering things like:

- How do the actors feel about how sexual assault was depicted this season?

- Do the showrunners stand by tackling such serious topics for a second time?

- Is Clay still the same person I thought he was in season 1?

After your more serious questions are resolved, you might also be wondering: What was the most awkward scene to film this season? And while you might assume that the intense scenes were the hardest to get a grip on, it's actually the opposite.

According to the actors themselves, the most awkward scene to film in season 2 was... the spring fling school dance.

At a BUILD Series panel in New York, the show's stars Dylan Minnette (Clay), Devin Druid (Tyler), Christian Navarro (Tony), Alisha Boe (Jessica), and Ross Butler (Zach) weighed in on the #MeToo movement, the school shooting finale, and so much more. But they also said that filming the school dance was uncomfortable AF.

For starters, did you know that there's no actual music playing while they're shooting dance scenes? The crew uses a recording device called a boom (plus mics) to capture all of the actors' lines, and it needs to be completely silent. Think about that Snapchat footage of you at your BFF's sweet 16. Could you hear a damn word you or anyone else was saying with the music blasting like that? I thought not.

“You think you know how to dance, until you have to dance without music,” Christian said. Dylan then added: “There are 200 people in the background, and you have to be yelling as though you’re yelling over music, and all the background actors are silent, and so you’re just screaming out spoilers…. I knew they'd all signed NDAs, but it was a whole thing for me!”

The music is, of course, added in post-production to bring to life the scene you know so well. But can you imagine going to a dance and having to PRETEND there's music?! Or, yelling over silence as if you're shouting to be heard over a loud song?! Being an actor must be tough.
