Mother and daughter erotic massage business shut down
When we think of massage, our minds tend to drift to a lavender-scented room, heated tables, and gentle candlelight. Truly the best way to indulge in all-important self-care.
But there is another, unsavory side to massage, and in this particular case it’s pretty shocking.
A mother and daughter, Anne Dodge, 55, and Jennifer Dodge, 30, were posting ads online about their family-run business: an at-home erotic massage service, the New York Post reports.
“I am a beautiful, talented, licensed massage therapist whom God uses to bring his healing energy to you and bring you to a whole new level of ecstasy,” a listing for Anne reportedly said, according to the Post.
Earlier this week, the two were arrested for operating an unlicensed massage parlor offering sexual favors, after authorities received a tip alleging prostitution at their home in Sarasota, Fla.
Between June and August of this year, police officers, working with the Department of Health (which confirmed Anne was not a licensed massage therapist), conducted several undercover operations inside the family home where the daughter offered to perform sexual favors for a fee. The mother gave a massage to an undercover police officer in exchange for money.
