Haftór Júlíus Bj?rnsson, aka The Mountain from Game of Thrones, isn’t against going vegan. What would make Bj?rnsson, known meat eater, former World’s Strongest Man, and a man known for eating 17,000 calories on a cheat day, even consider the idea?

Bodybuilder Kai Greene recently adopted a vegan diet after watching the movie, The Game Changers on Netflix. (For a Men's Health analysis of the science of the controversial film, click here.)

Greene posted a photo of Bj?rnsson eating meat and called Bj?rnsson to “try the plant based diet.”

Bj?rnsson, who is better known by the nickname “Thor” (for obvious reasons), responded in a reply to Greene's post.

“I might as well give it a try for a week on my offseason,” Bj?rnsson wrote. “I’m always willing to give everything a chance! Especially when it comes from legends like @schwarzenegger & @kaigreene.”

Arnold Schwarznegger produced and is featured in The Game Changers. Though Schwarzenegger doesn’t follow a strict vegan diet, the actor and former bodybuilder does claim to have cut his meat consumption by 80 percentage and has even spoken out against marketing that equates masculinity with meat eating.

Just prior to being challenged by Greene, Bj?rnsson posted a gif to Instagram showing him eating meat with the simple caption, “Carnivore.”

Confused about the whole plant-based versus vegan thing? Yeah, so is everyone else.
