Burberry has a new CEO
Joshua Schulman, an American, will succeed Jonathan Akeroyd, who is stepping down immediately "by mutual agreement with the Board," as the new Burberry CEO. The personnel change follows a 20% decline in revenue for the company in the quarter ending on June 29; Burberry shares dropped 15% in London Monday morning. Murphy hopes that Schulman's previous success at Coach and Michael Kors, where he also served as CEO, will continue at Burberry. {Fashionista inbox}

Lewis Hamilton named Dior brand ambassador and guest designer
Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton and Dior Artistic Director of Menswear Kim Jones are collaborating on an African-inspired skiwear capsule. The collection was inspired by Hamilton's love for snowsports and their shared ties to Africa through heritage and upbringing. The pieces will be made of sustainable, non-leather fabrics sourced across the continent. The collection will be available both online and in Dior boutiques on Oct. 17. {WWD/paywalled}

Reformation collaborates with Laura Harrier
Reformation launched an 18-piece capsule collection designed in collaboration with actor and model Laura Harrier. Harrier's signature style inspired the dresses, strappy shoes and skin-bearing separates. Prices range from $88 to $578. Tolami Benson talks her 2024 Euro Final outfit
Tolami Benson (media strategist and girlfriend of England football star Bukayo Saka) credits her newsworthy outfits at the 2024 Euros not to a stylist, but to her friends and their "very honest" group chat, she told British Vogue writer Riann Phillip. For the Euro Final, however, she worked with designer Hattie Crowther to repurpose a jersey worn by boyfriend Bukayo Saka during the 2018/2019 season. Benson paired the corset with denim shorts and her signature Three Lions bomber jacket. {British Vogue}

Depop is removing selling fees in the U.S.
Starting Monday, July 15, Depop has removed its 10% selling fee for U.S.-based users. This follows the removal of selling fees on U.K.-based sales in March. The average U.S. Depop seller makes $450 in their first year on the app, and now, more of the revenue generated will be put directly into sellers' pockets. {Fashionista Inbox}

BDG lays off editors, postpones Nylon print issue
Bustle Digital Group laid off nine staff members, including editors in chief of Romper and The Zoe Report and personnel at Bustle, Elite Daily and The Dad, AdWeek reports. The group also restructured its parenting and lifestyle titles Romper, Scary Mommy and The Dad into one editorial unit and fashion and lifestyle titles Elite Daily and Bustle into another. Additionally, the next print issue of Nylon, originally slated for October, has been pushed back to 2025. {AdWeek}
