It smells a lot like teen spirit in the world of fashion collaborations right now. Nineties grunge muse and rocker Courtney Love is the newest name to team up with retailer Nasty Gal, with a collaboration set to debut early 2016.

The news announcement came Sunday in the form of a cryptic Instagram post on the Nasty Gal account featuring an iconic photo of the rock legend’s taut abs on the 1998 album Celebrity Skin, with Love’s band, Hole. The accompanying caption read, “We’ve got a killer collaboration coming soon with one of the baddest bitches of all time. Any guesses?”

On Monday, the brand confirmed Love, 51, as its latest collaborator. It dropped further news about the upcoming collection with a contest alert posted on its site and social media offering winners the chance to attend a launch party with Nasty Gal founder Sophia Amoruso and Love in Los Angeles on Jan. 13. Love, the widow of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain (and mother to their daughter, Frances Bean), was snapped at a Nasty Gal store opening with Amoruso earlier this year.

Equal parts grunge and glamour, Love has honed in on her aesthetic over the years, which has run the gamut from her signature baby-doll dress (part of the early ‘90s kinderwhore movement) to her more recent turns in red-carpet couture. In 2013, Love starred in the Saint Laurent Paris fall ad campaign (for which she was rumored to be the inspiration), shot by the brand’s creative director, Hedi Slimane.
