Nausea During Morning Workouts Explained
The Doctors field a question from a viewer who tells us she does not typically eat before her morning workout but then feels like she's going to throw up.

ER physician Dr. Travis Stork explains that -- assuming you are not suffering from peptic ulcer disease -- that the most common reason would be hypoglycemia.
He explains that if your blood sugars are low that one of the typical responses can be hunger and or nausea.

Dr. Travis shares that he needs to eat before a workout. He recommends something like a banana with almond butter or any type of natural carbohydrate. He notes to not eat too much before exercising as this can hinder your workout.
He also says the idea that the only way to burn fat successfully is on an empty stomach is false.
