An NBA Team Has A Reverse-Eating Cam At Its Games And The Results Are, Um, Disturbing

The best—and arguably only good—part about going to see sports live is the food. Give me a tall boy and some nachos and I'm set. But even I couldn't stomach scarfing down stadium food after watching this very funny and uncomfortable fan cam from the one NBA team that's been dubbed "The Reverse Eating Cam."

It's actually called "Reverse Cam," and it's pretty much as silly as it sounds. During some games, the Milwaukee Bucks will show a montage of fans eating, but the video is played in reverse, making it look like they're pulling ice cream, nachos, hot dogs, and more from their mouths. For me, it's horrifying to watch; for others, like my boyfriend, it's "kind of funny." To each their own.

The Bucks have been doing this since last season much to the delight of fans, but it gained some headlines this week after a video was tweeted out by The Athletic's J.E. Skeets. You, uh, really do need to watch it to get the full effect. You'll never look at a burger the same way.

And they're not the only ones to do it, the NHL's Dallas Stars also apparently have this cam and call it "Snackwards," which is a very, very good name.

All I know is, in a ranking of sports cams I would rank this one above kiss cams (I hate them), but below the cams where they make celebrities chug alcohol or make people lift their babies up like Simba from The Lion King. Now THOSE I can get into.
