Nestlé Toll House’s New Cake Cups Come With the Batter Already Made
Nestlé Toll House couldn’t make baking a cake any easier if they were to come into our homes and do it themselves — which we will not stop them from doing, if they feel so inclined. But that won’t even be necessary, thanks to its new Batter Cups! They come with the cake batter already made and in the cup, so all you have to do is microwave one.
Instagram account @familyfooddude gave us the first peek at the ready-to-bake cake cups after spotting two flavors in Walmart. The first is a rich chocolate that is topped with Nestlé Toll House’s semi-sweet chocolate morsels. The other is also rich chocolate, but with premier white morsels from the brand.
The batter and morsels are in separate compartments, so the most work you have to do here is stir them in. Or you could just throw them on top. Or you could wait until after the cake cup bakes and then put them on top. We plan to mix the chips in, but follow your heart.
When you’re 1 minute away from wanting cake, pop a cup in the microwave for 60 seconds, and voila! You made a personal-sized dessert that you didn’t even need to crack on egg or add water to make.
Did we forget to mention that each package comes with two 3-ounce cake batter cups? They’re perfectly portioned to satisfy your sweet tooth without going through the trouble of making an entire cake. But we can’t promise you won’t want to eat both in one sitting.
