So like we've all had that nightmare where, by some force of nature or a shady best friend, your crush finds out that you have feelings for them, right? Yeah, so Netflix's new movie To All the Boys I've Loved Before takes that nightmare and multiplies it by a million. Well, by five, but that feels like a million!

Based Jenny Han's 2014 New York Times bestselling novel of the same name, the story follows sixteen-year-old Lara Jean Song Covey (Lana Condor) and asks this simple question: "What if all the crushes you ever had found out how you felt about them...all at once?" (By simple, I mean TERRIFYING.)

Over the years Lara Jean has written letters - that no one knows about! - to her five most agonizing and intense crushes: "Peter with the beautiful eyes, Kenny from camp, Lucas from homecoming, John Ambrose from Model UN, and Josh, the boy next door," narrates Lara Jean in the just-released trailer. Mysteriously, all of those letters actually get sent to said crushes and, well, chaos presumably ensues:

Also, there's at least one sexy hot tub makeout session, so it's not all bad!

"My hope is that after watching this movie, every single audience member knows they're deserving of love. And deserving of friendship," Condor told Teen Vogue about the film. "I hope they realize being yourself is truly the best way to live life."
