A Never-Before-Seen Photo Of Meghan Markle's Incognito Visit To A Soup Kitchen Just Emerged
Meghan Markle is well-known for her charity work, which is something the duchess was involved in long before she joined the royal family.
In a previously unseen photo, Duchess Meghan can be seen volunteering in a soup kitchen in Toronto, where the actress was based while filming Suits.
Meghan Markle has always given back to charity, even before it became part of her job as a member of the royal family.
In a heartwarming Instagram post, St. Felix Centre shared a photo of Meghan volunteering in their kitchen, after the Sussexes included the charity in their 12 Days of Christmas initiative. In the sweet snap, the actress is wearing a baseball cap to keep her visit low-key, but seems very happy to be there.
Sharing the photo on Instagram, the organization wrote, "We feel very grateful and honored to have been highlighted by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle, as one of 12 charities doing important work worldwide. ???? This photo has Meghan volunteering in our kitchen! ?"
The caption continued, "Meghan Markle was an active supporter and volunteer of St. Felix Centre during her time living in the city while working on Suits. She volunteered on a regular basis in our kitchen as part of our Community Meals Program. The duchess also donated food from the set of Suits, and on one Thanksgiving she brought in all the food, turkeys and the fixings for over 100 people."
It's clear that Meghan's passion for helping others started long before she had a platform.
