New Mom Irina Shayk Glows in Canary Yellow at Cannes

Model Irina Shayk hit the Cannes Film Festival wearing a canary yellow Atelier Versace gown, but her style took a back seat to her post-baby body.

Shayk, who welcomed daughter Lea de Seine Shayk Cooper on March 24 with partner Bradley Cooper, posed on the red carpet for the premiere of the Japanese film Hikari (Radiance) wearing the beaded, silk chiffon dress with a thigh-high slit. In a photo of the look posted to Instagram on Tuesday, commenters were incredulous over Shayk’s “amazing” and “stunning” shape.

The Russian model triggered similar comments in April when she posted an Instagram photo of herself wearing a black bikini and lounging in a pool. “Pre-sunset,” she captioned the photo adding the hashtag, “Current situation.”

Shayk’s slim figure incited speculation that the photo was an old one, with one person writing, “4 weeks after giving birth, who even has the time or effort to take an image like this right after giving birth.” Another dubbed Shayk’s body “impossible.”

Shayk clearly embraces her body in any form — in November, while pregnant, she walked the runway for Victoria’s Secret wearing a garter belt and several variations of a bra-and-underwear set, and in December, she channeled Demi Moore‘s character in the film Ghost by re-creating the famous pottery scene in a video for Love magazine.

And whether she’s pregnant or not, Shayk has nothing to prove.
