NFL Legend Dan Marino Offers Distinct Opinion on Taylor Swift

Even though Taylor Swift has had to deal with her fair share of dads, Brads and Chads since she and Travis Kelce started dating, NFL legend Dan Marino is not one of them.

The retired Miami Dolphins quarterback, 62, recently gave his thoughts on Swift, and unlike some haters who say she has "cursed" Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs, Marino believes her presence is nothing but a positive thing.

"I mean, she hasn't affected any games, but from the media standpoint, she’s there. It’s part of it," the former athlete told Us Weekly while promoting his new Super Bowl commercial with M&M's. "She's loved and from what I've heard, I don't know her...she's a terrific person."

"She cares about people," he further gushed of the 12-time Grammy winner's reputation. "And she cares about taking care of people, which is an amazing thing, especially if you're in her position."

“I give her a lot of respect for that, first of all," he added.

Besides Swift's very visible displays of support for Kelce while watching his games from the luxury suites, Marino said, "She might as well have fun and enjoy it while she’s dating one of the stars in the NFL. And what’s wrong with that? Nothing."

And Marino isn't the only person from the sports world to give Swift props as of late, as ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith has also been outspoken about his support for the "Mastermind" singer amid her relationship with Kelce.

Just this week, Smith sang Swift's praises during a conversation on The Howard Stern Show, during which he revealed that he attended one of her Eras Tour performances at SoFi stadium, an experience he said was "off the chain."

"I loved it. I couldn’t believe how much I loved it," he said, while noting that he even stood up for the entire three and a half hours of the show because of how "incredible" Swift is.

Now that's what the Swifties love to hear!
