NIBCO ice loop transformed for roller skating this summer in Elkhart

ELKHART — The city of Elkhart has just transformed its downtown NIBCO Water and Ice Park into a roller rink, complete with rentals of both in-line skates (Rollerblades) or traditional roller skates.

At 301 NIBCO Parkway, the looping rink will offer roller skating through Labor Day. Hours are from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, noon to 8 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays.

Skate rentals cost $3 per hour for adults, $2 per hour for youths. Kids sizes are included. You must be age 16 or older to rent and have a photo ID.
