Nicholas Creamery, Eric LeGrand Bourbon partner for new ice cream flavor
Small-batch ice creams are the specialty at Nicholas Creamery, and a new limited-edition flavor will be released Friday, June 14, in celebration of National Bourbon Day.
LeGrand Peanut Butter Bourbon is a collaboration between Nicholas Creamery, which has five ice cream shops in Monmouth County, and Eric LeGrand Bourbon. The flavor is made with peanut butter ice cream "churned with hearty pours of Eric LeGrand Bourbon," according to a news release.
This is the second collaboration between the companies. LeGrand Bourbon Maple Pecan was released in September 2023.

LeGrand, a former Rutgers University football player who was left paralyzed following a spinal cord injury on the field in 2010, launched the Eric LeGrand Kentucky Straight Bourbon brand with co-founder Brian Axelrod in 2023. They donate a portion of their sales to the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.
Nicholas Creamery is at 586 River Road in Fair Haven; 84 1st Ave. in Atlantic Highlands; 1201 Sycamore Ave. in Tinton Falls; 444 Ocean Blvd. N. in Long Branch; and 1500 Route 35 in Middletown.
