"Okay, so I guess I'm not Superman," the 42-year-old admitted in his caption. "I promised myself I would never be back at this place again...But this is a great lesson to take care of YOU or YOU won't be able to take care of everyone else."

Cannon, who brought his Wild 'N Out improv show to Madison Square Garden on Thursday, Dec. 1, also suffers from Lupus, an autoimmune disease that can make infections occur more often. He publicly revealed his diagnosis back in 2012, telling Us Weekly at the time that he felt "blessed to be alive."

His Instagram post on Friday featured two photos of the TV personality lying on a hospital bed wearing a face mask while covered up in blankets.

"Don't trip though, I don't need any well wishes or prayers," his caption continued. "Just some solid rest and I will be back on the journey to becoming stronger than ever."

"It's just pneumonia, nothing I can't handle," he said. "Crazy thing is, last night we was just rocking a sold out crowd at Madison square garden in front of thousands of fans, and now I'm all alone in a tiny hospital room."

"Life is definitely a rollercoaster," the soon-to-be dad-of-twelve added while concluding with the hashtag, "#LupusWarrior."

While the former America's Got Talent host insisted he didn't need any prayers and well wishes, plenty of his fans and friends ignored the caption and sent supportive messages to him in the comments anyway.
