Is Nick Cannon Really Looking For a New Baby Mama on a Game Show? What We Know
The father-of-12 is on the lookout for someone new.
While Nick Cannon has made it clear that he is always open to having more kids, he's getting more serious about the endeavor with a new game show.
The TV host shared a clip on his Instagram from a new show called Who's Having My Baby? With Nick Cannon, which found a ground of women walking on stage as host Kevin Hart introduced them to Cannon.
Cannon captioned the post, "We’re expecting…a new show on E! ?? ?? #WhosHavingMyBaby premieres this Spring on @eentertainment! @kevinhart4real."
Cannon is well-known for having 12 kids (so far) with six different women: Bre Tiesi, Mariah Carey, Brittany Bell, LaNisha Cole, Alyssa Scott and Abby De La Rosa.
The news of him possibly creating a game show to have more children shocked people, with comments on the clip reading, "Omg ?????♀?," and "We have to do better!!!! This can't be life right now!?!?! Damn, smh."
One person wrote, "Hell might as well make money off what everybody keeps talking about ?????♀?????."
Others found the concept strange and inappropriate.
The video led many publications, including TODAY.com, to report on the very unique series, but, luckily, it turns out that this supposed game show might now be quite what it seems.
Instead, it appears to be a sketch put on by Hart and Cannon for a new project. Variety reported that the teased "game show" is actually a gag in promotion of something else entirely, and that more information might be made public as soon as tomorrow.
Since E! Entertainment was included in the bit—and even commented on Cannon's Instagram post—it's almost certain that the upcoming Hart project will come out on E!, which already houses other projects from the comedian.
Hart currently has a game show that he hosts and produces on E! called Celebrity Game Face, but sources report that the new endeavor is unrelated to the existing series.
The sketch appears to confirm that both Hart and Cannon are directly involved with the new project, and as the post said, it looks slated to premiere this spring.
Hopefully, we'll find out more soon when it comes to what the project really is, and we can all rest easy knowing Who's Having My Baby? isn't actually set to become the most meta series of all time.
