“It’s a bit street urchin and a bit Julian Schnabel,” said Federico Curradi, explaining the inspiration behind the spring collection he designed in collaboration with California-based hatmaker Nick Fouquet. The two unveiled their lineup with a physical presentation in the garden of a secluded boutique hotel in the heart of Milan. The mood was chic and relaxed, the same attributes of the luxurious collection.

A sense of precious personalization defined the pieces. Hand-crafted porcelain buttons punctuated the shirts and the linen outerwear styles, while charms in the shape of tiny fish decorated a straw hat. Cute embroideries made by hand popped up on the T-shirts and shirts; garment-dyed pants featured intriguing color effects, and a set with an athletic vibe featuring a short-sleeved hoodie matched with baggy shorts revealed a jacquard motif inspired by antique carpets.

If the rich knitwear offering, including striped and patchwork sweaters, exuded chic coziness, the loose suits felt like great options for the coolest boys looking for a dapper office uniform.

Distinctive, cool and romantic, the collection suggests the creative partnership between Curradi and Fouquet is a match made in fashion heaven.
