Over the weekend, Nicole Kidman attended San Diego’s Comic-Con to promote her new film, Aquaman, which also stars Amber Heard and Jason Momoa. For the event, Kidman decided to forgo the typical cosplay attire seen at Comic-Con for a high-fashion look, a fresh-off-the-runway white and black embroidered maxi dress by Christian Dior.

Kidman styled the boho-style dress with a black corset belt and red jeweled high-heeled sandals. The dress was designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri and debuted during Dior’s Resort Spring 2019 Collection in May. The collection was inspired by a photo series by Devin Doyle in the May Vogue that centered around “escaramuza” riders; it is an equestrian, rodeo-like sport for females in Mexico.

Bohemian-style dresses like Kidman’s have made a major comeback, both on the runway and off. Selena Gomez, Pippa Middleton, and other celebs have been rocking these frocks this summer.
