Sure, the Instant Pot is great as a slow cooker and pressure cooker, but it can’t be used as a convection oven, home grill, or air fryer. However, the Ninja Foodi can do almost everything an Instant Pot can do and more. And it’s on sale for $230.
Originally $270, the Ninja Foodi FD401 (8-quart model) is a super-versatile countertop kitchen appliance that uses “TenderCrisp” technology that makes it quicker to cook with a golden finish. In fact, it cooks up to 75 percent faster than typical air fryers and pressure cookers with less fat and oil than traditional frying. Think of this as a pressure cooker, air fryer, slow cooker, oven, crisper, grill, broiler and steamer in just one nifty appliance.
“This product is a game-changer for me,” a delighted five-star Amazon reviewer wrote. “I live in an apartment and we are not allowed to have a grill. I can now grill my steaks, burgers, or chicken breasts using the grill insert. I can have delicious juicy steaks, burgers, or chicken breasts in about 30 minutes depending on the thickness. It's also super easy to clean because the inside is nonstick. I wish I would have bought this product sooner.”
Meanwhile, the multi-cooker features a large 8-quart ceramic pot, while it comes with a crisper basket that’s perfect for frozen French fries or chicken. And since both the pot and basket are nonstick, they’re easy to clean after you’re finished cooking for the whole family or just yourself.
Another five-star reviewer added, “This! It is amazing! It has stayed on my counter since it’s arrival. Incredibly easy to use and clean. Even a better pressure cooker than my instant pots!”
The Ninja Foodi also comes with a crisping lid, a pressure lid, a stainless steel reversible rack, and a recipe book to get you started.
