Over the past few months, the Nintendo Switch has been sold out practically everywhere—thanks to hardware shortages, shelter-in-place boredom and the surprise popularity of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons game. In fact, Nintendo plans to boost production of the home console to meet demand.
While the Nintendo Switch is harder to come by than the ‘Ice Ice Outpost’ shortcut in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, it is back in stock (in Neon Blue and Neon Red) for $300 at Amazon! It’ll be ready to ship on October 16, but you can pre-order it now before it goes out of stock again.
This console is so popular, it has earned a flawless five-star rating from 25,500 reviewers.
Fun for everyone
The Nintendo Switch is one of the most fun video game consoles out there, with its wide range of exclusive games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Splatoon 2, Fire Emblem Warriors, Super Mario Maker 2 and much more. It comes with two motion-control ‘Joy-Con’ controllers on each side—they can be used separately or together as a unit.
Trust us, the Nintendo Switch is a blast for people of all ages—not just kids!
“The Nintendo Switch is a great console for busy adults who want to reminisce about the fun they had 10, 20 or even 30 years ago,” wrote a delighted five-star reviewer. “What the Switch does is make gaming on-the-go effortless, fun for the average busy person and something you can really enjoy with your whole family—which I think was Nintendo's real goal here all along.”
Gaming on the go
Meanwhile, the Nintendo Switch is the only home console that doubles as a portable handheld video game system. That’s right! You can take it out of its dock to play your favorite Nintendo games on-the-go with the same video quality (only smaller on its 6.2-inch touchscreen) as on your TV.
And with up to five hours of battery life per charge, the Nintendo Switch can be played just about anywhere.
“Nintendo did it again! Fantastic console,” shared a satisfied shopper. “Nintendo truly knows how to design a solid gaming console. What I love about the Switch is the games are actually full length instead of the shorter and more casual games.”
In short, the Nintendo Switch is one of the best home consoles you can get your hands on right now...when it’s in stock. Luckily, Amazon has it available and ready to ship in a few days, but it’ll likely sell out again fast.
“I’m so glad I was able to grab a Switch when it went back in stock,” added another five-star reviewer. “I’ve been playing it nonstop the past few days! One of Nintendo’s best consoles hands down.”
If you’re looking for something smaller, the Nintendo Switch Lite is also back in stock, starting at $199 at Amazon. It comes in coral, gray, turquoise and yellow.
