The fans asked for it, so the producers delivered it. Here’s the Gen V Season 1 blooper reel.

Obviously it’s NSFW, because it’s based on a TV show that takes great delight in exploding genitals, so if you’re of a nervous disposition please look away now.

What did we learn, class? That the giant rubber penis was a prop and not CGI, that London Thor looks pretty good doing jazz hands, and that a fearless defender of truth and liberty is actually afraid of heights. That seems like a problem when one of your super powers is flying.

Gen V Season 1 has only just finished showing on Prime, with all eight episodes available to watch now. It was based on the comic book story arc We Gotta Go Now, and ended by setting up The Boys Season 4, which begins in 2024.

Both shows are based on Garth Ennis’ hyperviolent comic book The Boys, which ran for 72 issues and was nominated for an Eisner Award.

The Boys and Gen V aren't the only violent superhero successes on Amazon Prime. Invincible has just streamed its mid-Season episode, with the next four episodes due to air early next year.
