Our brand new (fake) boyfriend, Noah Centineo, just got a bunch of new followers and he's having the time of his life.

After he stole our hearts as Peter Kavinsky in To All the Boys I've Loved Before, Noah has different plans for what he wants to do with his newfound social media presence.

"I’m currently strategizing the best way for me to leverage my platform, my growing platform, my friends' platforms, to help fight a various group of social injustices," he told W.

Despite gaining millions of followers in only a few short days, he says that he's just still going to be himself and not change what he shares at all.

"It hasn’t really affected me yet. Whatever the numbers are, it’s just a device, you know? It’s not like all of a sudden, I have 2.4 million people with me all the time. Nothing’s really changed in my day to day," he said.

While most people with that kind of following have some sort of understanding of social media, Noah didn't even know what a thirst trap was despite constantly posting them all the time.

"That’s a cool name! I think for a lot of people, the point is to get high engagement and likes on their photos, so I think it’s just good marketing," Noah said. "But at the same time, if you’re posting pictures and you look nothing like your pictures, then it’s false advertising."

He also says it's pretty easy for him to unplug from social media and he often finds himself without his phone multiple times a day, even if it's just for a short while.

"I love it! Like, at the gym I don’t touch my phone. When I go on a hike, I leave my phone in the car. If I’m eating, I’ll leave my phone places and don't touch it for a few hours, daily. It’s super important! Meditate," he shared.

Noah also hopes that his new followers also follow suit and try to unplug every once in a while as well.

"Here’s the thing: It’s so simple, even if you put your phone down once a day and walk around the block in your neighborhood, you don’t have to do anything for longer than 10 minutes, but if you consciously put your phone down, and go outside and walk around, or read for 10 minutes or do something not on your phone intentionally for a second where it forces you to engage with the outside world, it’s very therapeutic and invigorating!"

We'll definitely try Noah, but as long as you keep posting pictures like this one, it might be a little hard to put the phone down.
