Exhibition on drums in the Osage community to close
“Voices from the Drum,” a traveling exhibition featuring 20 drums and information on their role in the Osage community, closes its run at the First Americans Museum (659 First Americans Blvd.) during museum hours 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. Medieval Fair heads to Norman
NORMAN — Norman’s annual Medieval Fair runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday at Reaves Park, 2501 Jenkins Ave. Features include themed artisans and fair food and live performances including jousting. Brothers Griin to open for Dan Deacon at Beer City Music Hall
Baltimore-based artist Dan Deacon will be in concert at 8 p.m. Friday at Beer City Music Hall, 1141 NW 2nd St. The electronic musician and composer is well-known for his interactive live shows, which have in the past included the artist performing on the concert floor with the audience and an interactive app. Oklahoma City’s Brothers Griiin will open.
Weyes Blood to play Cains Ballroom
TULSA — Folk and pop artist Weyes Blood once described her work at “Bob Seger meets Enya.” She’ll be in concert at 7 p.m. Sunday at Cain’s Ballroom, 423 N Main St., performing music from “And in the Darkness, Hearts Aglow,” out last year via Sub Pop. Cody Clinton and the April Fools to play Jenks
JENKS — Tulsa-based rock band Cody Clinton and the April Fools will perform an April Fools’ Day concert at 9 p.m. Saturday at Maggie’s Music Box, 201 E Main St. The band is celebrating a new single, “Tulsa Is the Next Austin,” and will screen a brand-new music video at the show.
