North West, Kanye West
Kanye West's eldest child, 10-year-old North West, is already following in her father's footsteps, announcing that her debut album called Elementary School Dropout was in the works.
Soon after, West took on a rare interview with 13-year-old reporter Jazzy to answer some questions about the exciting new project, including whether or not her rapper dad would make a guest appearance.
During the interview, which Jazzy and Rolling Loud music festival posted on Instagram, North teased fans about her music. Jazzy outright asked her if there would be any "collabs with your dad" on the album, and North put her hands up and said enthusiastically, "Maybe! We don't know!"
She also confirmed that there's no set release date and promised that Elementary School Dropout is "gonna be great." Jazzy kept the energy up in the clip, complimenting North's "mysterious vibes."
Fans found the interview charming, noting that North looked "nervous" but Jazzy did well keeping everything relaxed, with one comment reading, "Nice interview. Didn’t pressure her just controlled the vibe. Good job."
"U handled that very well? north is such a kid I love it," said another, while a third wrote, "Jazzy and North are both ??, if you're being yourself you're ??. Great interview ??."
Many more complimented the two young girls and shared how excited they were to see what's in store for them in the future.
North first announced that she was working on original music while performing at one of West's listening parties for his album Vultures 1, which features her rapping on the track "TALKING."
While some people questioned the news because of how young North is, others cheered her on and shared their love for the album title, which appears to be a direct callback to West's debut album, The College Dropout, which came out in 2004.
