Not a student? You can still go to homecoming this fall in Holland

HOLLAND — After the success of "Prom with a Purpose," the Momentum Center is launching "Homecoming with a Heart," a new event at Holland's Midtown Center for adults.

The event for individuals, couples and groups runs 6-10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20.

“It's an accessible event to bring together people of all different backgrounds and abilities for a celebratory evening of fun and community,” the organization wrote in a release.

Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased online at momentumcentergh.org/homecoming. Sponsorships are also available, ranging from $150-$5,000. A $150 sponsorship includes two tickets and a ticket for a Momentum Center member who would not otherwise be able to afford their own ticket.

Attendees can enjoy dinner, catered by Taqueria Arandas and a cash bar, with DJ Eulove playing music for the dance floor. There will also be a raffle with prizes, like a lighthouse tour and boat ride.

Traditional homecoming wear is encouraged, but casual dress is “enthusiastically welcome,” the Momentum Center said. A photographer will be on-hand to take homecoming-style portraits and other photos.
