Remember those gingerbread houses you used to make around the holidays as a kid? Well how psyched would you be if we told you that you can visit a life-size version of one as an adult? If the thought of frolicking around a house made of gingerbread cookies, gum balls, and all sorts of candy sounds like a dream come true to you, then you may want to sit down for this one: The JW Marriot hotel in Los Angeles just opened up a 1,300-pound gingerbread bar, which means that Christmas has officially come early this year.

The bar in question is called Santa's Tavern, and it's pretty much a giant gingerbread house that you can drink cocktails and eat snacks in. Likely the best part about the whole thing is that all 1,300 pounds of the bar is edible, though for obvious reasons, you probably won't catch any of its patrons sneaking any bites out of it.

Open from now until the end of the year, Santa's Tavern will feature three signature cocktails: Santa's Little Helper, a mule made with gingerbread liqueur served in a copper elf; the More the Merrier cocktail, which is a mixture of pomegranate, ginger beer, lemon, and vodka; and the Mistletoe Mimosa, made with cranberry juice and rosé. The bar will also host cocktail tastings and mixing demonstrations on Dec. 6 and 13.

If you're in the mood to make a toast to the holiday season, you can find Santa's Tavern on the ground floor of L.A.'s JW Marriot until Jan. 2.
