You Can Now Order Mac And Cheese At Any Chick-fil-A Nationwide
WOWOWOW, I can hardly contain my excitement. As of today, August 12, a long-awaited new side is finally available at Chick-fil-A restaurants nationwide: mac and cheese. This is the fast food chain's first permanent side dish to be added to menus since 2016—to stress, the mac and cheese is p-e-r-m-a-n-e-n-t. No limited-time sitch here. ??
As for the details, the dish is made in restaurants every day with three kinds of cheese: cheddar, parmesan, and Romano. It can be ordered during lunch and dinner hours, with kid's meals, and in catering orders. If there's anything that could improve Chick-fil-A's nuggets, it's a side of cheesy mac to enjoy alongside 'em.
The side dish was tested in five markets and "passed with flying colors," per Chick-fil-A's press release. "We have a very high bar when it comes to adding a menu item," Executive Director of Menu and Packaging Amanda Norris said, "but the feedback from our customers in the test markets made this decision easy."
Per Twitter, people are in fact hyped.
Also coming to menus: a Frosted Caramel Coffee. This one is a seasonal item and is really more milkshake than coffee. It's made with cold brew, vanilla ice cream, and caramel syrup. It will be in Chick-fil-A restaurants nationwide until November 9 or while supplies last.
