Official 2024 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta poster released
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta has released the Official Balloon Fiesta Serigraph Poster for the 2024 event. A committee of judges reviewed 73 entries and chose Jake Gushard’s artwork. The collectible item depicts a scene of a fantasy Balloon Glow.

“I really enjoyed the night glows at the Balloon Fiesta. And there’s not much artwork that displays what the night glow looks like. I wanted to create something like that,” said Gushard.
The local artist also continued the tradition of hiding a roadrunner within the poster and included landmarks of the Sandia Mountains as well as an Albuquerque sunset.
Gushard is from Albuquerque, went to La Cueva High School, and graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Cybersecurity.
The poster can be purchased at the Balloon Fiesta Gift Shop or online. During the Balloon Fiesta people can purchase the poster at the Official Balloon Fiesta Merchandise Tents.
