Oklahoma Officers Respond to Call About 'Vicious Dog' to Find Unexpected Culprit

The officers weren't expecting to find this!

Body cam footage from an Oklahoma County deputy is going viral for the best reason. Deputies were on the scene in a Deek Creek neighborhood after receiving a call about a 'vicious dog' when they came face-to-face with the culprit.

Thankfully, no one was injured in the encounter--victims only suffered mild annoyance. The deputies were able to safely return the dog to the yard where it came from, though (as you'll see in the body cam footage from the KOCO News' YouTube channel) it's certainly a call they'll never forget.

LMAO! Vicious dog, who? This little delinquent is so tiny and not at all what we were expecting to see. Then again, we suppose the deputies were feeling the same way!

"Please let this be the vicious dog," one of the officers can be heard saying. That's what would be running through our heads, too! Especially if we were expecting to find a larger, frightened dog who may even be acting out, this would be such a relief. And such a great chance to laugh!

The same deputy couldn't help but say "what's up Toto?" when he got out of his vehicle to approach the dog. Even if the pup wasn't a fan, we love that the officer had a sense of humor about the situation. He's still a hero for helping the pup get back home--hopefully for good--even if there was no real danger.

Just a few rocks piled up beneath the hole in the fence were enough to keep the dog safe. We'd call that a job well done!
