Old Dominion Member Details Crash Injuries Forcing Him to Postpone Tour

He's on the road to recovery but won't be performing for a while.

Old Dominion has some bad news for fans following an unfortunate incident involving lead singer Matthew Ramsey and an ATV.

The band announced on Twitter yesterday, March 28, that this weekend's previously scheduled shows in Key West, Florida, have been postponed to March 22, 23 and 24 of 2024, alongside screenshots of a written statement from the singer.

“Well friends – I’m afraid I have some disappointing news,” he wrote, revealing that he'd fractured his pelvis in three places as a result of the ATV accident. "The good news is it’s gonna heal just fine. The bad news is I’m gonna have to stay home and recover for a little while," he continued. "I know we all had plans to sing and dance together in Key West. I was looking forward to that so much! We will make it up to you!”

He went on to promise fans that he would keep them up to date on his recovery, as well as on any additional affected shows that will need to be rescheduled. "This tour has been such a blast so far this year and before you know it, I’ll be back out there with No Bad Vibes! Love you all. – m,” he signed off.

For those with tickets for the trio of Florida shows originally scheduled for March 31, April 1 and 2, 2023, they will be honored for the respective rescheduled date next year.

If you're unable to attend the new date for your show, full refunds will be available soon from your original point of purchase.

After this weekend, the band has several additional dates scheduled starting on April 13 and running through July 1, according to their website, the first few of which, at least, will likely follow suit with postponement announcements soon.
