Olivia Jade Is Now 'Begging' USC 'to Let Her Back In' to Change Her Image
Olivia Jade Giannulli, Lori Loughlin's daughter who often talked on YouTube about how uninterested she is in school, is suddenly interested in continuing her college education. Where? Why, at the University of Southern California, the school her parents reportedly paid $500,000 to get her and her sister Isabella into by making them appear as rowing team recruits. That crime could cost Olivia Jade's parents decades behind bars.
Us Weekly reports that since USC hasn't let her withdraw, Olivia Jade is now pleading with them to let her be a student again. “Olivia Jade wants to go back to USC,” a source told the outlet. “She didn’t get officially kicked out and she is begging the school to let her back in.”
A separate insider told Us Weekly that Olivia Jade's sudden desire to return to USC is less because she wants to learn and more because she wants to repair her image publicly. She knows USC is not going to allow her to resume her studies.
“She knows they won’t let her in, so she’s hoping this info gets out,” that insider explained. “She wants to come out looking like she’s changed, learned life lessons and is growing as a person, so she for sure wants people to think she is interested in her education.” Well, having a source say this outright to Us Weekly isn't likely to make it happen.
Olivia Jade's parents Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli have pleaded not guilty to their charges (which include money laundering and conspiring to commit fraud) and will fight them in court in the coming months. At most, they could serve 40 years behind bars; at minimum, they face four years and nine months, according to TMZ.
