The One Childhood Snack Travis Kelce Still Eats Today
Travis Kelce
Whether you're a fan of football or just a fan of pop culture, you've probably heard the name Travis Kelce more than you're used to lately. While the Super Bowl champion has been a household name amongst football fans for years, his latest somewhat confirmed tryst with pop icon Taylor Swift has thrusted him further into the spotlight. And Swifties (not to mention non-Swifties) everywhere want to know everything they possibly can about the 34-year-old tight end.
While the star has been tight-lipped on what their seemingly whirlwind romance looks like or how it even began, those who are interested in knowing more about Travis Kelce are in luck because as it stands, he and pro-older brother — Philadelphia Eagles center, Jason Kelce — have a joint podcast that delivers laughs, thrills and a look into their lives.

Aptly named "New Heights," the podcast is described as having "football's funniest family duo" provide "next-level access to life in the league as it unfolds." And in this latest episode, the brother's gave us a look into the past that intersects right into their current lives.
Delivering the expected brotherly banter we've grown to love from them, Jason asked Travis what his favorite school lunch growing up happened to be and his answer fell into the traditional realm that most people would easily co-sign: chicken nuggets and pizza bagels. The answer that seems to have everyone surprised, however, was the one he provided to the question of what childhood staple he still eats now as an adult.

“Have we talked about this already? I eat an Uncrustables probably more than I eat anything else in the world,” Travis said. And while he didn't identify which variation of the delicious snack/meal he loves, if his mention of other favorite foods is anything to go by, one may suspect it's the one with strawberry jam.
As previously mentioned in a response to a fan's question of what his favorite pre-game meal was on X (formerly Twitter), the football talent revealed that his go-to was French toast — a partial double-down on a statement he made to InsideHook last year. “Every pre-game meal has been French toast and strawberries since I’ve been on the Chiefs."
So, if you've been called childish lately because you — a childless millennial — keep your freezer stocked with an overflow of Uncrustables, you can now consider yourself in good company. After all, who really wants to grow up anyway?
